Swansea City AFC, also known as the Swans, is a professional football club based in Swansea, Wales. The club was founded in 1912 and currently competes in the English Football League Championship, the second tier of English football.
The Swans have had a relatively successful history, having won the Football League Trophy in 2006 and the Football League Cup in 2013. This title remained until 2021 before it became the Swansea.com stadium which remains in 2023.
