Smashed Raspberry approached Lomi design as they felt their existing branding was out dated and not attracting the potential amount of customer possible.

Background

Smashed Raspberry is a independent café/bistro owned by Sam and Garry, based in Neath, South Wales. They offer indulgent milkshakes, crepes & waffles. As well as brunch, light lunches and hot drinks. In this competitive market Sam and Garry realised they need to improve their branding to stand up against their competitors.

Result

The design used strong bold colours throughout with a water colour style raspberry reflecting the ‘smashed’ aspect of the name. A loose handwritten typeface was used to reflect the open and friendly personality of the brand. There was an opportunity to use the wall above the shop so we applied a large scale raspberry that can be seen from a long distance away. Raspberries and key offer vinyls were applied to the glazing, as well as a ‘welcome’ message to reflect Sam and Garry’s and fun and inviting personality.
