Llanrumney Hall is a charity run multi purpose community hub based on the outskirts of Cardiff. LOMI were approached to communicate the rich history of the building and bring it to life throughout the building itself.
The history of Llanrumney Hall dates back to the 1000’s to the Monks of Keynsham Abbey. It Also boasts being the residence of Captain Morgan and a legend emerged in the 19th century that the headless body of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, the last true Prince of Wales, was buried in a stone cof?n on the site.
Multiple information panels were created in various locations. A time line of the buildings history was developed for the main hall entrance. The history of the infamous Captain Morgan was bought to life in the Cafe and the story of the tunnel network claimed to be under the halls grounds plus various other historical stories were used in various areas in the building.
