Square Bakery is an independent small bakery based near Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales in a village square. LOMI were approached to design a brand that made them stand out and not look out of place in a city environment.

Background

The owners were keen to move away from the usual convenience store bakery you would expect to find in the more provincial locations. They wanted to develop a full bakery offer of Freshly baked breads, rolls etc as well as cakes, sandwiches and baked potatoes.

Result

A Square rolling pin logo was created using a contemporary narrow sans serif typeface. This was supported by window graphics communication the various offers as well as their personality. A screen menu was designed along with the counter area and material.
